November 30 – The German Chamber of Commerce

The German Chamber of Commerce, backed by The German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action, organized a seminar on the development of a Green Methanol Corridor in South Africa. The first plant is expected to be set up in the Vaal SEZ region.

Libalele Energy, Uzile Energy, Ekonami, FEV, Tec4Fuels, and Perk Innovation have collaborated in a consortium to establish GeFP Holdings.
Zirk Jansen, one of our own, delivered a presentation about the opportunity for localisation of “Green” projects provided by the Vaal SEZ.

This is through the Hydrogen Innovation Hub that is being planned for the Rietspruit site in Emfuleni.
